Space and Stability
with Vicky Fox
15 Feb – 22 Feb 2026
This week combines fluidity and flow with alignment and strength. We will explore through physical posture (asana), breathwork (pranayama) and meditation, how to find some stability when everything around us is constantly moving. Getting a break from our daily routines and finding some space and stability we can take off our mats and back into our lives.
English
The retreat is open to anyone with a beginner’s mind and an open heart, and whatever else you might be bringing into the yogashala. This week gives us time to explore fully how to find space in our bodies and our minds. The aim is to create an inclusive practice for everyone to find some tools that help create a sense of balance you can take off your mat and into your life.
Each day will begin with warming up joints, slowly opening up any tension held in the body and taking advantage of the warmer climate to help us open up tight spots and breathe into them. We will then move into exploring how we can create stability in poses and find a balance of both strength and flexibility.
Each day will explore a different theme or aspect of yoga whether that be a physical focus on feet and foundations or exploring mantras and mudras within our practice. Aiming to empower you with tools that you can take off the mat and an inner stillness and clarity you can take into your day.
All practices include asana, breathwork and meditation. The evening practices include more restorative/yin style poses.
